Ongoing project work.
I have three sites that are designed and managed by three different entities/individuals. I am looking to bring this under one umbrella. I don't really know the jargon and the details about what the designers/programmers do so I have to lay this out in layman's terms. Generally I submit detailed request of what I need and they make it work.
Qualifications would include basic to advance graphic design abilities, mid to strong programming abilities. Someone who can create sites/pages that are visually appealling (not utilitarian). Most of the programming work has been complete but all the sites need changes/tweaking and there will surely be additional programming needs in the future. To give you an idea of some of the 'programming' that is done; when a customer places an order the site generates a print-ready pdf reflecting the text information input by the customer. So when I get an order notification it includes 1) product info
2) order quantity 3) shipping info and 4) print-ready pdf file.
A small shop or single-person operation is welcome.
I would prefer someone local to St. Louis and even better if you are near 270/Manchester. I generally communicate design/programming needs via email and then I get billed by the hour. I do pay my bills immediately so you will get paid as early and as often as you create an invoice. Obviously I want to keep cost down so I like to see that that work is completed as expeditiously as possible (this does not mean you have to start projects immediately but once they are started the work is done with alacrity).
I will also need the sites to be hosted too.
Please respond if you are interested and let me know your hourly billing rates and if your rates differ for programming vs design work.
Also include your cost to host two website domains.
