Description:	General programming updates for existing e-commerce store. Project outline This project requires the programmer chosen to work on a dummy version of the site and to get the required updates to a complete working level from which we then upload to live site. We require above all else the project to be completed within agreed time frames and to be tested fully before handing over. These need to work in conjunction with existing site and no change’s other than these should be made. Any updtaes that are made should comply with all white search engine optimization techniques. Ares requiring updating S.E.O We require the ability to edit all our page Title tags, Meta descriptions.. This needs to be for all pages including dynamic pages. This needs to be added to our existing admin area and needs to be a section where we can by content edit each page and to edit all those details above. For dynamic pages that can not be edited individually or that have no actual html page, it is require that they automatically generate the own tags according to our specifications relative to the page they are generated for. I.e. when on a particular product page it will have the title tags of that product and that brand and product type with the description about that product and brand for the meta description tag and this would work for all pages. Equally this would work for the brands pages and different product type pages. Some pages have elements of this but it all needs to be centralised and editable conveniently via the admin system. Gift vouchers We need to be able to offer our customer to opportunity to purchase gift vouchers of varying value. We require a page where customers can add in any set value via admin gift vouchers into their basket to then continue on to purchase. Each voucher would need to generate a unique code that can only be used once and is used in the basket to redeem the value of the gift voucher and effect the basket price accordingly.. This then would be sent in a pe-designed email to the customer explaining how to use etc. Currency converter To enable the customer to change the price figure on the website to any number of currencies’s at the click of a button. Order failed When a customer gets to the final checkout page and hits buy, if for any reason the order fails a message should appear detailing the failure and possible causes. This would then be able to take them back to the basket to re-attempt the order. Email sign up When a customer signs up to our newsletter a preformatted email needs be sent welcoming them to our company and including the option to unsubscribe just in case the sign up was in error or fraudulent. Site font The entire website including any pop-up pages need to be edited to ensure they all respond to one style sheet that can be edited via the relative file in the FTP. This includes main site text, subject tiles, price, product titles, etc etc. Website alignment All pages to align, and to be identical in layout so no page jumping occurs and that all text aligns with page edges. Product images Actual product images clickable to popup as the more images link does.
