Your bid and comments must include "We have reviewed" at the beginning or it will automatically be disqualified.The purpose of the project is to track vehicles sales and inventory within specific regions. We would like to scrape individual automotive dealer websites to build a database of several variables. We would like the program to be able to go out and update the data on demand. Once daily we would like to mark vehicles that are not there that were recorded previously based on a VIN number, so we can determine approximate sales rates of specific vehicles within a given market.
This is a project that will evolve we will want to add features to the system and add dealerships in the future. To start we would like to build the program to scrape the new and used inventory on mooredealsdotcom, champion-forddotcom, robertsmotorsalesdotcom, stevejoneschryslerdotnet,tappmotorsdotcom, robertsbrothersautomartdotcom and build desired reports around this data. As soon as we get it right we would like to add additional dealerships. We would like an upfront estimate on what it would take to add dealerships on an ongoing basis. Please include that in any comments regarding this site.
The reporting should be Internet based and will be added and hosted at the site autobusinessconsultantsdotcom for users to login and use. Some examples of what we will want the reporting to include is daily view of avaiable inventory, ability to determine high, low and average price, average days in database,and etc. This report should be able to break out specific to each variable. Basically we would like to be able to review the data in many different ways. The main items we will be collecting where avaiable are, Vehicle Year, Make, Model,Type, Doors, two wheel or 4-Wheel drive, Color,Vehicle Identification Number, Stock Number, Miles, Asking Price,and Dealership location, and date the units was added and removed.

Instead of making this available online could you pull data from a website every night and provide the data an Excel format.
