I am working with ASP/ASP.NET since 2001 and don't see any problems except mySQL data provider for ADO.NET. Connecting to mySQL through ODBC results to slow data processing, high quality drivers aren’t free and you’ll need to obtain commercial license for using them.

Iam in the world of web development using microsoft platforms(asp,asp.net,asp.net 2.0,share point).Looking at your classic asp code i need to develop a data layer for data access and also i suggest you to migrate all your inline sql to stored procedures and converting all the UX(user experience) to asp.net 1.1 or 2.0 based upon our further discussions.Looking forward to hear from you.
