Description

We have migrated our internal business processes to the Salesforce® platform. Currently Salesforce does not have any function or feature to create quotes. The proposed quoting subsystem will enable the following business processes:
• Generate a quote, either from an existing or a newly created opportunity, linked to existing and/or new partner and customer accounts.
• Add products as line items to the quote, either automatically from the opportunity or additionally during the quote generation
• Email a generated quote as a PDF file attachment and record the email transaction.
• Electronically receive approval of the emailed quote from the partner.
• Convert the approved quote into a sales order linked to the partner and customer accounts.
