Description

I need a quiz – testing application with the following features

• ASP (VB & JS as needed) with access 2003 DB
• Administrators can set up unlimited number of multiple choice tests with unlimited number of questions per test and unlimited number of choices per question and have a way to indicate what choice or choices are correct. Some questions may have multiple correct answers if needed.
• Administrators can have option to upload an attachment(s) containing course materials associated with the test that would be available by link for the user to open in a new window before they start the test or while taking the test.
• Administrators can have option to set a time limit for tests or not.
• Administrator can have option to set a maximum number of attempts for individual tests. Some may be 1 or more or even unlimited.
• Administrators can have option to display test questions all on one page or just one question at a time.
• Administrators can make tests active or inactive.
• Users would enter their name and group name.
• Users can select active tests from a list of active tests.
• Users can see information about the number of questions, any time limit, and the number of attempts allowed before they start test.
• Users can see progress if administrator set test to one question per page. They would see something like “Question 1 of 20” and if a time limit was set they would also see “Time remaining XX minutes”.
• Users would see their final mark as the number or questions answered correctly and as a percentage once they complete the test or the time runs out if a time limit was set.
• The user’s information is stored in the database – name, group, test taken, date & time taken, amount of time taken, final mark as a percentage, and the number of attempts.
• Every time the user takes the test the above information would need to be updated and if the administrator has set a maximum number of attempts for a specific test then the system would need to prevent the user for exceeding that number.

Budget for this project is up to $100 USD.
