Hello,

I have a website up at the following URL:

The whole purpose of this website is to collect data via an HTML form from users and store it in an MSSQL database. I am already collecting the data and storing it in the database, so no ASP or database experience is necessary.

What I need is for the form to be validated as the user enters input, and does not let the user submit the form until all the data is in the proper format.

I would like some type of Ajax/jQuery style form validation, like I saw on this website: http://jqueryfordesigners.com/demo/ajax-validation.php. It doesn't have to match exactly, but it does need to work on an ASP not PHP page.

I will provide the winning bidder with a zip file of the site. You can change the index.asp page to include form validation. The only thing I ask is that you do not change the names of the form fields, since I am storing them in a database by name.

Below are the list of fields and what types of values they should hold for validation:

FirstName = all characters of alphabet, upper or lowercase
LastName = all characters of alphabet, upper or lowercase
CoFirstName = all characters of alphabet, upper or lowercase
CoLastName = all characters of alphabet, upper or lowercase

EmailAdress = valid email with @ sign, etc.

HomePhone1 = area code of phone number, 3 numbers only
HomePhone2 = exchange of phone number, 3 numbers only
HomePhone3 = last 4 digits phone number, 4 numbers only

WorkPhone1 = area code of phone number, 3 numbers only
WorkPhone2 = exchange of phone number, 3 numbers only
WorkPhone3 = last 4 digits of phone number, 4 numbers only

CellPhone1 = area code of phone number, 3 numbers only
CellPhone2 = exchange of phone number, 3 numbers only
CellPhone3 = last 4 digits of phone number, 4 numbers only

BestContactTime = dropdown menu, must choose a selection
BestContactMethod = dropdown menu, must choose a selection

Address = any letter, number, etc. any length
City = all letters, any length
State = dropdown menu, must choose a selection
Zip = 5 digit numeric zip code

CurrentLender = any letter, number, etc. any length
MonthsBehind = dropdown menu, must choose a selection

FirstMortgageAmt = numeric with a decimal point
FirstMortgagePmt = numeric with a decimal point
SecondMortgageAmt = numeric with a decimal point
SecondMortgagePmt = numeric with a decimal point

LoanType = dropdown menu, must choose a selection
PropertyType = dropdown menu, must choose a selection
PropertyUse = radio button, no real validation needed
EstHomeValue = numeric with a decimal point
Comments = anything can go in here, but cannot exceed 3000 characters
