Description

I am in need of a Visual Basic program to monitor key strokes and mouse clicks. It should keep a text file log and display activity on screen. User actions should be filtered or processed to produce a log like this:
Alt-I
Alt-V
Key D
Alt-O
LeftArrow
RightArrow
LeftClick
RightClick

A look up table would be nice so the generating of commands can be editable in one location. It can be embedded in the source and no tool is needed here – I just anticipate standardizing on commands in the future, for example Alt-O may become O.

For on-screen display. The last action should be displayed in a top most window. This will be used during “Camtasia” recording of the users actions. By the way this will mostly be used with Microsoft Office. The last key pressed or mouse click type will then become recorded as part of the screen recording.

The developer will produce a prototype which sort of works within 2 days and refinements can be done within 7 additional days. Source code needs to be delivered. VB6 or higher.
