Description

We require horse racing animation using macromedia flash to be a replica of the animation from the Ladbrokes website (please see www.ladbrokes.com / Games / Golden Guineas – ignore the betting procedure its just the actual race we are interested in)

The animation will need to pick up variables from a file (file will be generated by the server) which will determine the horses finishing position.

We would like to see the horses run from start (coming out the starting gates) to finish (crossing the finish line)

The horses should stay grouped together thought most of the race each fighting for first position but at around 2/3 way through the race the horses should start to take there finishing positions.

When the horses are running we would like to have the background scrolling so we can see the horses all the way through the race.

The animation has to support up to 20 horses running. The animation should be able to work out how many horses are running from the variable file. If a horses is not running it has a value of null, else has a numeric value.

All programming for the animation is also required.

We also would like to have sounds in the same way as the Ladbrokes animation.

At the end of the race we would like the background to stop scrolling to show the finish line on the right hand side and the horses run past the line and off the screen.

We would like an indicator bar similar to Ladbrokes at the bottom to show the progress of the race. Also to show which horse number is in which position between 1st and 5th.

As the horses are crossing the line we would like to show which horse number came in at which position.

At the end of the race a menu should appear to give 3 options. 1 to continue (simple open url), 2 to see a photo finish ( a screen shot of when the first horses head touched the finish line) and 3 to watch again.

It is crucial to get the realism of the horses running at the best performance possible

There will need to be 2 different surfaces for the horses to run on, one being grass and the other to be all weather surface which is dark sandy colour. There will be a variable in the file to indicate which surface to show.

Once the designing/programming team has been chosen more information on the structure of the variable file and any other information you require will become available.

Even though we would like a replica of Ladbrokes animation we would like it personalised to our own.
