Sir I dont do ball-talks here of how many companies i own or how many man power i have. I say what i have already done. we already have a ready made solution for this made in Dot Net platform. All we need to do is tweak this so that it suits yor need. To give you a brief idea abt the project here it is:- ------------------------------------------------ Shopping-Cart-Application provides a complete e-commerce storefront, which can be managed by an easy to use administration web site. Shopping-Cart-Application includes a robust built-in shopping cart, but Shopping-Cart-Application is also much more than just a "shopping cart", because it brings content management capabilities also to your store (for instance, you can have an unlimited number of HTML pages, news items, image galleries, etc). Your site appearance can also be highly customized, to enhance your unique online business values and strengths. The store platform supports all types of products, including: clothing auto parts furniture software art music books eyewear jewelry catalog sites (can turn off buy buttons) etc... Feature Full web-based administration: Once installed, all store tasks can be performed by an easy to use web based control panel. You can configure products, prices, etc all from this administration site. Static Product & Category Pages: Designed to allow search engines to fully crawl and index EVERY product & category page in your store. This can have a dramatic increase in site traffic from search engines. NOTE: Support for these initiatives will be required by credit card companies of all shopping cart systems in 2005. Now, you can have the same fraud protection available to all retail stores. Eliminate your fraud liability. Guaranteed Payments. Reduce chargebacks by up to 70%. These authentication initiatives make Internet commerce safe and secure, for both buyers and sellers. Integrates directly with your Authorize.net or Verisign payment gateway. Integration is seamless into the storefront for merchants, and easy to use for consumers. You can even customize notifications with an order amount threshold, if you only want to be notified when an order exceeds a certain dollar amount. Accept Credit Cards in Real Time: Cards can be processed & verified in real-time, or you can delay processing until a later time. Sections (Departments) Supported for Cross-Browsing (important!): A critical feature for professional web stores, which allow s your customers to find products via a cross-matrix browse (e.g. An product can be in the shoe category, but also be assigned to the women's or men's department!) Skin Based UI Customization: Store site styles and web design can be completely customized by external HTML skin template and style sheets. Auto-Generate Search Tags for Each Product Page: Each product can have special keywords defined for it, and they will be inserted into the proper Search Engine Meta-Tags on the page, so when the page is indexed, it has the highest possible ranking in the search engine. Sale Prices Supported Databases Supported : MS Access 2003 and SQL Server Unlimited Products: You can have as many products as you need. Coupons & Specials: Supports Coupon codes or other discount/special offers that you may want to be able to provide to customers, including "% off", "dollar discounts", "free shipping", etc. Advanced Coupons (by category, manufacturer, use only once, use only N times, only once per customer, etc) Shipping by weight and zone. Zones are defined by zip code prefix ranges. Store Administrator Defined Shipping Methods & Rates Product & Site Photo Galleries: Create photo galleries of products, activities or other important corporate or store fun events. Showing prospective customers more than just a "store facade" is VITAL in creating brand loyalty. Built In Customer Mailing Manager: Send e-mails to registered customers. Database Encryption For Card Numbers Customer Can Select Shipping on Cart Page: Customers can change shipping on shopping cart page, and get new shipping/order totals before checking out. Customers can also attach special instructions/notes to each order. Password Protected Products: Only allow registered customers to view certain portions of your store, expands capability of Customer Levels even further. Customer Order History Pages: Customers can get their prior order histories, check order status, etc all online. Related Products E-Mail Product To A Friend: Product pages can be e-mailed to friends by site visitors. Payment Gateways Supported Payment Methods Supported Downloadable Products Supported Delayed Downloads (gives you time to verify buyer) Automated Receipts E-Mailed To Customer. Also, If order contains downloadable items, customer also gets an e-mail with download instructions and locations. Downloads persist over time, which avoids the hassle of customers returning at a later time (months or years) to re-download what they ordered, since they got a new computer! Saves on customer support hassles! Store News Items Supported (editable via Admin Site): Add real-time news announcements, and items to the site. Inform customers about important new items, or promotions. External Product HTML Files Supported External Product Specifications/Details Supported Nested Categories & Sub-Categories Supported Search Engine Referrer Tracking: Search Engine Referrers are tracked all the way through to orders. IP Address Tracking: For safety and auditing, IP addresses are logged. Customizable Receipt Formats: Customize the format and layout of your store receipts by using a simple HTML template. Product search capability: allows site visitors to find products by keywords. Paged browsing for categories and sections: Keeps page size small, and optimizes user experience. Customers also have the option to "view all" on any page. Simple 2 page checkout: Customers don't get lost by an endless series of checkout pages. Shopping Cart items can persist over time (even months if desired). Great for return customers, who later wanted to order a product, but forgot which one they wanted. Support for Informational Catalog Only Sites: A simple configuration setting removes all "buy" buttons from the site, in effect turning your site into an informational site, still complete with categories, subcategories, sections, product info, product photos, etc. Customer Service Web Administration: Comprehensive administrative reports, including revenue trends & graphs, visitor trends & graphs, customer order percentages, affiliate revenue reports, tax reports, etc. You can also search for order by almost any criteria to assist with customer support calls.
