Description
I am the webmaster for curesarcoma.org, a nonprofit organization. We are renovating the site for a new look. We need to choose a font set and a new layout with new supporting graphics (i.e. page banner backgrounds and navigation bars).At this stage, we are redesigning the homepage in Photoshop. Check out the files for an idea of what we're looking for.
Follow these guidelines:
-Use space wisely, attached files waste center space (you can try editing them and submitting that, but it would probably be better to start from scratch).
-We are keeping the logo, so use a color scheme that matches it.
-Make sure the logo doesn't stand out too much like in the attached files.
-Use pancan.org and rarediseases.org as models! Obviously, don't just copy the site, but keep the "professional" look.
-Pancan's "More" button on some of the tables is good, something like that gets bonus points.
-A "modular" look would be spectacular, kind of like rarediseases.org has a few different sections, all with different colors.
-Stick to solid colors like rearediseases.org in order to maintain professionalism. Gradients probably aren't good.
-This needs to be done ASAP.
-Question? Just ask.
For this project, please redesign the homepage. Once the homepage design is approved, you will create the look for all the other pages. Additionally, we may want to hire you for future projects.

- I'm looking something more in the $40-60 range. Remeber, the final product will just be a photoshop mockup. You don't even need to build the website in HTML.
- Before I accept any bid, I would like to see a sample of the product you will provide. It doesn't have to be final-product-quality, but it should show the general idea of what I am buying. I am less interested in all of your magnificent portfolios than in the rough drafts of this project that you can provide.
-If you are worried that I will steal your sample and not officially select you as the winning bidder, I encourage you to add a watermark to your sample.
-In light of the addition of this information, I will extend the project by a few days. Let me know if you need more time.

Just for clarification, $70 may also be OK if I can't find a good sample for less.

There has still been a little confusion, so let me clarify one last time.
All bidders will PM me links to samples (which may have watermarks for content protection). I will then select the bidder whose sample shows the most promise and will work with them towards a final product. The final product will be a professional-grade Photoshop mock-up of the website. No HTML coding or database backends will be necessary.
