Description

I'll provide a list of textbook ISBN numbers (around 6500). You harvest from Amazon.com the list price of the book, the format of the book (hardcover/paperback/etc.), the number of pages, and the dimensions of the book, all of which will be on the Amazon html page for the book (and may well be on their XML server). You can put the output in a regular excel file. I don't care what programming tools you use to do the project.

I've attached a sample of what the output file will look like. Note that Amazon will sometimes be missing the entire book, and will sometimes be missing one or more pieces of data for the book. For example, for the first book on the sample sheet, Amazon is missing the number of pages. The information is all listed under the "more product details" tab.

I've attached a second file, isbnlist2.raw, a text file. This shaves down the sample to eliminate many of the books in my original sample that are missing on Amazon. Provider can use this file instead of the earlier provided isbnlist.raw (it is just a subset of the earlier list).
