Description

I am in need of a ghost writer. I was asked to write a weekly column in our local newspaper. For the most part the articles will be very simple and generic, written in the first person. When it comes to the Market Data and states, I will provide. Each article needs to be approximately 750 words (plus or minus a bit)

This featured column starts the 1st week of August and I need to get a “library” of these topics (below) composed and submitted into the “library”

This is an ongoing project and we will need to discuss compensation......maybe a flat fee / article.

• Market updates/statistic summaries
• Current local topics as they come up
• Tips for sellers: Setting an asking price
• Related article: What is market value? (I don’t think a lot of people understand that this is based on what people are actually willing to pay)
• Tips for sellers: Choosing an agent
• Tips for sellers: Getting your house ready to sell
• Tips for sellers: (staging – de- clutter)
Buying Tips
• Tips for buyers: Choosing an agent
• Tips for buyers: Evaluating prices
• Tips for buyers: Making an offer
• Tips for buyers: Things to do to get your finances ready before applying for a loan
• Why gated communities? – what are some of the reasons why buyers choose them
• “If you snooze, you lose” – a discussion of how shrinking inventory and growing demand mean that the low prices are for a limited time only
• Busy season article – a good time to sell (written for sellers)
• Slow season article – a good time to buy (written for buyers), i.e., to find the best deals
• Time to upgrade – a discussion about how the prices right now make it the ideal time to upgrade, perhaps even to something you couldn’t afford normally
• Why it’s good to be represented by a real estate agent who is good at negotiations
• How to Qualify for a Short Sale – Who Qualifies for short sales
• How to select a Realtor
• Working with a Buying Agent
• Working with a Selling Agent
• Home Inspections – Which ones do I need?
