Description

We have a 513 line cgi routine that parses input text into many different variables. This needs to be rewritten in php. When the code is rewritten, all php variable names should be the same as the original cgi variable names.

We will be testing this code on many different Texas Holdem poker hands. There are some things that are the same for all the poker hands but there are some things that are different. We need a php form that can be used to test different these different poker hand input variations. The php form needs a textarea box for the input poker hand and a submit button. When the user presses the submit button all the variables should be shown along with their values. For example:
$x=123
$y=456
$z=789

It will be helpful if the programmer has an understanding of poker, specifically the game of Texas Holdem. The programmer must have a solid understanding of regular expressions.

I used to play poker for a living in the 1990's, I am an expert at PHP, I have worked with a lot of PERL/CGI stuff... I don't know what else to tell you. If you have more than one programmer who you are confident can get it done, I guess it comes down to price. Since it's a simple project, I doubt my solution will be much better than the next guy.

I know the difference between these programming languages, the difference in inserting HTML code, the variable notations etc. I am sure I can deliver results to your satisfaction.
