Bid On This Project

Description

I have a steak restaurant and have been printing my own menus for the past 15 years in MS Word. I would like to have my lunch and dinner menus created in Adobe Illustrator if that is possible. I have the Illustrator software and would be able to edit the menu in the future, but I don't know the program well enough to create the menus. I feel that if each menu item is its own little item(rectangle), I could move and edit the menu when needed.

Is PageMaker a preferred program for my project?

Can someone who is proficient in the Adobe family of programs let me know the best way to do this project?

Hi, I have recently created a set of menus for a restaurant in London. If you give me any logos or specifications required, I can make one for you, with full support on how to edit it, and great communications between the two of us. Jamie

I have over 5 years experience with adobe illustrator, and have designed a number of logos, and laid out different websites with it. This project will be a simple one. I look forward to hearing from you and working on this project.

Assuming you simply want to move your existing menu content and graphics over into a new program.... Actually, I would recommend using Adobe InDesign. Illustrator and Photoshop can provide you with graphics, but InDesign was made to bring it all together - the graphics from the other programs and the layout strengths of InDesign. It's what I use whenever I prepare documents for print. I run my own graphic design business of sorts - I'm like a one-stop-graphic-shop for my clients. I provide everything from the logo, to apparel, business cards, vinyl and hand painted signs, you name it - including menus. I have a few food service clients that utilize my services, but I can understand wanting to "do it yourself" - it's actually how I got into the business. So - anyway, if you want what you have pulled into another program and laid out the same way - no extra design as I understand it and lunch and dinner menu only - I can do it (I still say InDesign but if you have a comfort level with Illustrator - "end justifies the means" in this case). Oh - and to answer your question - PageMaker is pretty much another company's InDesign... (I've only used it for an internship years ago. Not a bad learning curve - but I'm an Adobe girl) Both are created for the express purpose of page/print layout.

Hi! I can create the menu for you in whatever software you want... illustrator, photoshop or coreldraw. I will then guide you to edit it whenever you choose to. I just need to know your preferences as to colour, the look and an idea what you want created.

i've been workin on illustrator and photoshop for quite sometime. i design ads for newspapers and outdoor hoardings and also do brochures. Illustrator is a good software to use to develop your menu, but so is photoshop. i would like some details of your restaurant and shots of your previous menus to see your taste. it can be done like u wanted (with the rectangles etc to edit it later.)

I would use Adobe Indesign for your menus. This would be faster and easier to print then having seperate Illustraor files. Please contact us for more information or answers to your questions. Thanks!
