Description: This tool will provide data entry fields for loan officer name, branch, and loan type. Upon entering this information, the user will be provided with a uniquely generated loan number. This loan number will be generated by the system in a predefined format containing the current date and branch number.

The administrator(s) will have the ability to assign loan officers to the one or more branches they are affiliated with. This task will implement a security tool that will allow loan officers to generate loan numbers for their assigned branches only.

The final component to designing the loan number generation application is creating 3 initial reports that will allow the administrators to view statistical data as follows:

Report 1 – Loan Log. This report will include all loan data and loan numbers generated (since the implementation of this application) in a concise and user-friendly reporting style.

Report 2 – Loans by Date. This report will prompt the user for a specific date range in that the records returned will be limited to the loans generated for that particular period of time.

Report 3 – Loans by Branch. This report will prompt for a branch (or branches) in that the records returned will be limited to the loan generated by that particular branch (or branches.)
