Description: I am experiencing a fatal error in a php script using smarty templates using php 5.0.4. The same script runs in php 4.3.2 without the fatal error.

The error in part is "Cannot use object of type Group as array in"

I find reference to this type of error at:

but when I make the suggested change in the smarty member, it does not fix the problem.

I need some assistance in fixing the problem.
