I have a script I wrote that creates sitemaps for all of my sites. I've created over a dozen, some with 300k urls, easy project.

We have the tools required to generate a fully google compliant sitemap in xml format that contains up to 50,000 urls, or to generate a sitemap index file that can index sitemap files to cascade beyond the 50,000 url limit that the googlebot reads.
