Description:	this project was previously posted and the bidder bailed on the project. this IS NOT an implementation of osc... i am NOT asking the bidder to build a store. these are functionality enhancements to osc that will allow me to build the store i want. i am using oscommerce to implement a store for educators and parent to sign up for external school programs. oscommerce will give me the majority of of functionality. the programs will be defined and priced using the oscommerce catalog. the users signing up for the programs will create oscommerce customer accounts. the customizations i need fall into the following requirements: * Customer Types - when programs are being purchased, and new customers are registering, the new customer accounts must have a type. i would like a "Customer Types" configuration screen to show up in the menu above the "Customer Details" option. the screen would have the ability to enter new "Customer Types", just a text field. for each customer type, you can assign multiple product definitions from the catalog. this assignment would designate what product that customer type is allowed to purchase. during the checkout process, an error message should be displayed when there is an invalid product in a customers cart. * Customer Details/Attributes - I require more flexible customer details. i would like there to be a "Customer Attributes" menu just below the new "Customer Types" option. the screen should have similar functionality to the "Product Attributes" screen, but for customers. The customer attributes should be associated with the new customer type to display during registration/editing of their customer account. * Attribute Dependent Picklists - I require that some customer attributes be dependent on each other. For example: One attribute may be "School City" listing a number of school cities. The second attribute would be "School" which shows a listing of schools in the first attribute's city. I will take suggestion on how that would be implemented and presented in the configuration pages. I would like all the code and documentation to follow the examples set forth in oscommerce and the similar screens they are coming from (i.e. Product Attributes). There should be clear and easy installation to an existing oscommerce installation that mirrors oscommerce contributions.
