Hi folks,
I'm looking for a developer(s) to help with adding a pre-registration step in Mambo registration. What I want is to require a registering member to verify their paid membership in an existing seperate database before being allowed to complete Mambo registration. This is a site that has members-only features for members of an automobile fan club. The reason we're keeping the other database seperate is that we need to manage a postal mailing list and non-web members, so we need Mambo to verify members against this database. The registration process options would be:

1. Existing Current Club Member - this member would need to verify their membership by entering data exactly as printed on their club newsletter mailing label (Member ID/ First Name/ Last Name/ City). If a match is found, they would have the opportunity to update the entry (fix spelling errors, add missing info, etc.) before finishing verification, then they'd be forwarded to the Mambo registration and allowed to register.
2. Existing Expired Club Member - the process would be the same as above but the member would be required to renew their membership for a minimum of 1 year before completing the verification process and registering. This will require a payment module (I need Authorize.net and possibly PayPal).
3. New Club Member - same as expired club member above but member will fill in a blank membership registration form, verify input, make a successful payment, then be forwarded on to the Mambo registration.


Options that I'd like to see (but not required at this time) would be:

* Ability for user to edit their member information linked directly from Mambo (user verification would use Mambo's authentication)
* Auto-renewal notification (either by email or message in Mambo or both) with ability to modify notification time (default 1 month)
* Searchable member roster allowing a simple search by state/country


I'm willing to donate the source code to the Mambo project (I think this kind of functionality would be very useful in the Club/Association membership market). I need to get this completed ASAP (target launch date is some time before April 1) so please contact me immediately. I've got process flowcharts (attached) and have built a rough version in Perl already (will give URL upon request) but would really rather have this running in PHP as a part of Mambo.
