Description:	We have produced our own e-Commerce software designed to tap into a very popular back office. We have commercialized it and now want to sell it and the customization services that go with it. Since have a lot of money into the software itself, we need to keep the costs down on the website to sell it. Our budget is less than $1000. If all goes well, clients who buy our software will need new or improved website designs, and we will want to sub out this work and concentrate on coding the .NET behind it, so there is potential to supply some steady work to whoever builds our company site. Scope --------- Site is to be developed using a Dreamweaver template system in HTML, using CSS (tables may be used if crucially necessary i.e. forms, centering of divs etc.). Other software may be used, but must be able to be maintained using Dreamweaver. Strictly NO MS FrontPage. Menu system can be a combination of images/flash and text (CSS, etc.). Flash may be used sparingly i.e. page headers, animations. Site must be tested in all popular browsers in windows and Mac for compatibility. All coding must pass relevant validation for CSS and HTML. Site must be friendly to “Search Engine Optimization”. Developer must use Photoshop or Fireworks for graphics and Illustrator for vectors (if necessary), and provide all source files upon completion of work. The site must be exceptionally clean and professional looking. The site content will be maintained in-house, and all moral rights and intellectual rights to the finished work must be passed on to my company (we will work within the license agreement if a prepaid template is used and customized). We can install the majority of copy into the pages ourselves since there will be CSS used throughout. We will want a couple of comparison charts done by the designer though. Use of a prepaid software design company template is okay as long as it is modified to be somewhat unique and source file passed on. Main Requirements ---------------------------- - Quoting on 20-24 pages - 2 initial concepts (i.e. jpg images) - Two level menu system - press release page - blog area - Site-wide graphic design elements i.e. custom page headers, buttons, bullets etc. - Gallery/testimonials page - Designer must be able to provide site images/photography. We will also provide limited images. Provided ------------ - Company logo - Corporate colors - site map - Content in word format or simpletext - Limited amount of images. - Plus any other information as required. - Examples of sites which I like. PRE-REQUISITES --------------------------- - Experienced designer with live examples (Minimum 10) - Will be able to provide invoice for services - Easy communication in English Please Note: Freelancer WILL NOT be able to list developed site as an example of their own work. This is Non-Negotiable.
