You're right - you do need something! Our bid is for a logo, site banner, background and a button template. I like the black hole for IT consulting :) but I am not sure it is the message you want to send people. I hate the idea of a swan. Too serene for technology. Northern Cross is not too bad - lights, direction, standing out etc. Anyway I would be going with something strong, meaningless perhpas with almost subliminal lights and not too intimidating as to color. You can't go too wrong with blue for technology or consulting. So your current color choice was pretty good. If we win, we would provide three concepts and you can choose one. Then we can refine that one until you are happy with it. We can provide a mockup now if you like.
