Description

We need our own auction software. It will need to able allow the user to log into eBay, and get info on off of thier my eBay. The user should be able to bid, sell, print and other things. You should be able to allow us to view a sample of the software.

NOTE: You must not own/work for a company, as you will work for us. This will become a full time job later.

Auction scheduling
Inventory management
Ability to list one inventory item a number of ways (different titles, auction, fixed price, store) and the software still knows it is the same item
Batch emails
Batch feedback
Flexible listing software with good use of variables
Custom reports
Responsive tech support
User forum
Ability to manage more than one selling ID
Combine multiple sales into one invoice
Ability to add non-eBay sale to an invoice
Interface with popular shipping software (e.g. Endicia)
Track consignment items
A feature that encourages users to backup regularly is a good idea too, since every hard drive fails someday.

1) Estimating shipping. It seems every option out there only lets you pick 2 of out 3 carriers (UPS, Fedex, USPS).

2) Keeping track of estimates I've given out. If I estimate $10 and it ends up being $12 when it's all packaged and ready to go. That way I can decide to charge only $10 (if my estimate might have have sounded like a quote).

3) Keeping track of communication from the same buyer from different email addresses. The shipping quote may have been sent to one address, eBay may have a different address and Paypal may have a third one. And that's just to start. And it doesn't help that the buyers that have and use the most email addresses are the same ones that are the least organized and need the most coordination (e.g., you get the paymnent without shipping from one Paypal account, then the shipping from a different account, etc.)
