Contest Brief

I am in need of a designer to create an original retro-style cover for my upcoming ebook, "Trivia for Seniors: Step Back in Time to the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s through the end of the 90s." This project is tailored for seniors aged 50 and up, and the cover should truly resonate with this demographic.

Key Design Aspects:
- Retro Design: The cover should embody a nostalgic retro theme, reminiscent of the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, and 90s.
- Engaging and Age-Appropriate: The design should be visually appealing and engaging for seniors.
- Aesthetic Suggestions: While I indicated a preference for a retro style, I am open to your creative suggestions, so feel free to experiment with the graphic elements.

1. The main title and subtitle should take at least 1/3 to 1/2 of the top part of the cover. It should be large and in an easy to read font. Please no cursive or italics.
2. Somewhere on the cover needs to say, 'EASY TO READ' as well as 'LARGE FONT.'
3. Author's name: Heartfelt Reads Press. Author's name should be in a smaller font size than the sub-title and at the bottom of the cover
4. No white or extremely light backgrounds
5. 6"x9"aspect ratio

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Prior experience in designing book covers, particularly for older demographics, would be a huge plus.
- Expertise in retro design and understanding of the design elements that appeal to the senior age group.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate on the design and incorporate feedback.
- A portfolio showcasing your previous work in the realm of retro and senior-targeted design.

Please do not submit anything that looks DIY or that was made on CANVA. AI generated covers with nonsense and gibberish text will not be considered. Covers that don't have ALL five requested design elements will be rejected (see above.)
