Contest Brief

I am looking for talented designers to adapt an existing book cover design from the Human Resources field to the Healthcare sector. This contest involves reimagining the cover to suit a new theme while maintaining certain elements of the original design.

Original Design Features to Retain:

Author’s name at the top: "Mamen Blanco"
The circle and the letters inside it ("IA")
The font style of the title and subtitle

Modifications Required:

Change the color scheme from the original purple and pink to a new palette appropriate for the healthcare sector. Please suggest color schemes that convey cleanliness, health, and professionalism.
Update the text according to the attached specifications (ensure all text provided is correctly placed according to the original layout).
This cover will not feature a photo of the author or her biography.
The design must be formatted to meet Amazon KDP requirements, including space for a barcode.


Deliverables:

The final design must be provided in a ready-to-upload format for Amazon KDP, including the back cover and spine if applicable.
Provide the source files in Adobe Illustrator (.ai), Photoshop (.psd), or a compatible format, ensuring the files are editable.

Criteria for Winning:

Effectiveness adapting the existing design to a new theme
Compliance with the color scheme and content placement that reflects the healthcare industry
Professionalism and cleanliness of the final design
Quick turnaround time, as speed of delivery will be a significant factor in the evaluation
Submission Requirements:

Submit at least one full cover design (front, back, and spine) based on the specifications.
Include a brief description of your design choices, particularly your color scheme and any significant changes made from the original design. A 3d portrait book design will be an asset.
